Club House Schedule
The Clubhouse is open weekdays from 8AM - 10PM, and weekends from 10AM - 10PM. It is closed on Christmas Eve Day, Christmas, New Years Eve Day, and Easter.

Regular Events
The association residents are an active bunch offering a number of events each year on a regular schedule and additional opportunities on an occasional basis.
- Monthly Potluck
Third Thursday of each month, (exception December) – Activities Hall 5:00pm cocktail hour, 5:15 announcements, 5:30 dinner.
- Theater Dinner Parties
4 per year, Alpena Civic Theater performance and dinner following at a local restaurant Sunday Matinee, 2:00 pm
- Mahjong
Come and play this ancient Chinese game with us on Mondays and Wednesdays 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM, in the craft room.
- Pinochle
Mondays at 7 PM
- Euchre
Thursdays at 7 PM
- Piyo (yoga and Pilates) Mondays and Wednesdays (Thursdays until April) 3:00pm activities Hall
- Aquasize
Aquasize is held Monday – Friday at 9 AM.
- Senior Dinners – Monthly Sponsored by Presque Isle County Council on Aging
- Line Dancing (summers) Sundays 7:00 pm activities Hall

- May 16: Theater Dinner Party 2:00pm Alpena Civic Theater Dinner With Friends. Dinner afterward Portage
- May 20: Potluck Activities Hall 5:00pm social hour – 5:30 eat. Bring a dish to pass and own table settings. Hosted by the men.
- June 6 Senior Dinner: Clubhouse Activities Hall. See clubhouse bulletin board for menu and to sign up.
- Omelette Breakfast to benefit purchase of playground equipment. Clubhouse Activities Hall: 8:00 - 10:30 Adults $7.00, Child $3.00 (4 and under free).
- June 21 Women's Club Women to Women presentation. 12:00-2:00 pm. Activities Hall $5.00. Light lunch included.
- June 26 11:30 Association Hot Dog cookout and social hour to precede toe annual meeting. Clubhouse Patio areas. Hot dogs, beans, chips and lemonade will be provided. You are invited to bring a side dish to pass if so inclined or your own choice to drinks. Come and meet your neighbors.
- June 26 1:00 Annual meeting. Dessert served after the meeting.
- July 15: 15 Potluck with hot dog cookout. Bring a side dish to go with hot dogs. 5:00 Social hour, 5:30 eat.
- July 3 Association Bake Sale. Lighthouse Park

Below are the materials being sent in the mail in October 2009 to the PIHA members who have not yet returned their restrictive covenant proxy. If you did not receive yours, please call the clubhouse at 595-2411.- President Molly Benson's Cover Letter describes the circumstances which the board has been responding to and the changes which are being proposed.
- Copy of proposed changes in PHIA Restrictive Covenants: please note key at top of first page that defines proposed additions and deletions and original text; read text and review explanations of changes found in sidebars;
The Restrictive Covenants are available; - Instruction sheet for signing AUTHORIZATION TO SIGN ON MY BEHALF AND PROXY form.
- AUTHORIZATION TO SIGN ON MY BEHALF AND PROXY form: complete this form as instructed and mail to the association; this proxy vote applies only to the current changes in the Restrictive Covenants proposed by the Board of Directors.
2010 Annual Meeting
- Ballot for election of PIHA Board of Directors members: vote for no more than three candidates listed on the ballot to replace three members who will leave the Board at the completion of current year of operation; place completed ballot in (Ballot) envelope;NOTE: Ballots must be submitted on original form received in the mailed packet in order to be counted.
- Mailing envelope: place (Ballot) envelope containing completed election ballots in this envelope for mailing/return to PIHA;
